Visit TellTale Games, Buy their Games
TellTale Games is a company set up by the team that was working on Sam and Max:Freelance Police. When they were all layed off by LucasArts(after LA said there would be no lay offs) they were encouraged by the fans reaction to the cancellation of Sam and Max so they formed their own gaming company. Their first adventure game "Bone" is being released late 2005." Please support them and this game. The Sam and Max license that Steve Purcell owns has now expired for Lucas Arts. So any hope of a sequel to Sam and Max: Hit The Road is really reliant on the success of Tell Tale Games. They have previously stated that they would love to make the game if Steve Purcell gave them the opportunity. Visit their web site now http://www.telltalegames.com
- Tim June 2005 Email LucasArts
The most effective thing to do is to email LucasArts and tell them how
disappointed you are in their decision, and assure them you would certainly buy the game
if/when it is released. Please try to be as polite as possible, most of the staff at
LucasArts are as disappointed in the cancellation as we all are, and abusing everyone who
works there is counter-productive.

Online Petition to Resurrect
the Sam & Max Game
"Hi Brandon -
We are aware of the
online petitions and I have received your numerous updates. As you can imagine, this was
not an easy decision for LucasArts to make. We are reading the many emails being sent in
and management is fully informed of the number and sentiment of these messages. I
personally very much have always appreciated the support from the many fans of our
adventure games and regret that the current games market led to this decision. Rest
assured, your voices are being heard."

Savesamandmax.com Press Release
Savesamandmax.com website launched.
Less than a week after the LucasArts announcement that it has stopped
production on "Sam & Max: Freelance Police" a Save Sam & Max Website
has been launched. The Site is dedicated to forcing LucasArts to reverse their
decision and have Sam & Max 2 finished and released. There was a lot of frustration,
anger and resentment after LucasArts shock announcement and the creator of
http://www.savesamandmax.com wants to "harness that in a productive way."
"The campaign to get this game reinstated has just begun, as a
petition exceeds 15, 000 signatures, we have a picket line protest being organised to be
held at LucasArts Offices in San Rafel, CA. We also are encouraging everyone to mail their
own piece of Sam & Max Fan Artwork to LucasArts to let them know their are Sam &
Max Fans out there who would buy this game, contrary to whatever flawed research they have
done. I think its also time for the gaming community to take a stand and let companies
like LucasArts know we want original and funny games like Freelance Police. I also
challenge Mike Nelson who cancelled the game with that pathetic two line quote, to come
out and respond to the fans passionate showing of support for the game."
And what do Sam & Max think of the website created to save the 6 foot
dog and 3 foot rabbity thingy...
Sam: "My belief is that it represented the
collective sorrow and frustration of all those whose favorite adventure game was
steamrolled into the ground by cold, sterile, LucasArts."
Max: "I may openly weep"Please
help spread this press release to every gaming site, news publication possible.

Lucasarts sure has changed over the last decade. If they won't support the
sequel of a funny, interesting and popular game, then what hope is there of
them ever coming up with something ORIGINAL. Yes, we all know there is only
one way into the doors of Lucasarts. Sent in by Martin

Show
Your Support for the Adventure Gaming Genre
"Hey there,
Nice to see the effort you are making towards the reinstatement of Sam & Max 2. I see
a suggestions to preorder the game, and that's not a bad idea. I would also suggest that
now would be a good time to buy the
Lucasarts Archives collection (lucasarts.com/companystore/adventure/).
Sure, we all own copies of the fantastic original, but can you ever really
have too many? Is $30 too much to pay to show interest in a 10 year old, and truely
classic game? If sees how much people still love the game, perhaps it might be an extra
straw of encouragement to finish the sequel. This is, of course, provided that Sam &
Jar Jar doesn't seem like a better idea to the executives in question. Yesh. Forget I just
said that."
